Important Dates & Watch Information on Chopard

• 1963; Karl Scheufele takes over the company after Paul-Andre Chopard, was forced out due to various management issues made it impossible for the founding family to keep hold; and he brought the company in a whole new direction; a good direction.

• 1975; the factory started producing women’s watches and other ladies jewelry and marked the introduction of the Happy Diamonds collection.  

• 1980; the Company started to open their first boutique stores in the Far East and Vienna.

• 1988 Chopard introduced the Mile Miglia watch, which was based on the relationship it put together with a historically popular Italian road race organization.  

• 1998; brought with it the introduction of the Chopard L.U.C. Quattro that featured a watch with a nine day power reserve – a truly great innovation.

• 2003 the Chopard Company introduced the Happy Spirit collection; which are available at Yaegerwatch.com.

• As of 2006; Chopard now has over 85 boutiques; all over the world.
